Since 1988 Purushottom Walawalkar Higher Secondary School offers Office Management course which is a two years commerce based skill oriented course. Office Management is a one of its kind vocational course which imparts skills of communication, accounting, computers, administration and management in the course of XI and XII standards.

The Office Management course has got highly qualified and well experienced faculties to impart theory as well as 100% practical skills in every subject and provide individual attention to each candidate. In addition compulsory on-job-training is a part of curriculum in Office Management which every student has to complete for a period of 6 weeks. The grades of the training reflect in the mark sheets issued  by the Goa Board

After passing out as a XIIth Office Management student, the candidate can be successfully absorbed in Government as well as private jobs. Each candidate is eligible for the post of LDC, UDC, Front/Back office assistant, Personal assistant, Office manager, Office administrator, Receptionist, Accountant, etc. in government offices, banks, hotel industry, organizations, institutions under professionals, etc.

Moreover if they wish to continue studying further they can successfully pursue B.Com, BBA,   BCA, LLB, B.Ed, Diploma in Modern Office Practices, etc. like any other student. They also excel in sports and other co-curricular activities routinely conducted in our institution.
