Purushottom Walawalkar Higher Secondary School has an outstanding legacy of providing holistic education and attracting students from diverse backgrounds.

From a small beginning  in 1988 , we have grown to a strength of  1023 students and 79 staff members and are presently frontrunners in the educational arena.

Each year we have been growing  in terms of expanding infrastructure and capacity building programs. Apart from classroom teaching, we engage students in commemorative events and intellectual activities.

A one to one student-teacher connect and graded evaluation exercises results in outstanding academic achievements. Through various experiences provided to students, we hone their skills and nurture in them a sense of values and social responsibility. We have an excellent track record with notable performances in music, dance, drama and sports.

Our flagship programs are a need based afternoon meal for students staying back after school hours for academics and sports , an exhaustive home visit schedule, effective weekly tests, and self-study techniques course.

Despite the ongoing odds faced after the Covid-19 pandemic, our dedicated team of staff members has  overcome  all challenges through effective organization and implementation.

Our teachers facilitated a blended learning program using online/ offline methodology to help students cope through this difficult phase. We are extremely fortunate to have experienced and expertise advisors, as members of our school management who provide visionary leadership.
